In a liberal democratic society such as this, the finest expression of patriotism is critical thought regarding politics. Because it's so easy. And because they don't have the cognitive/analytical skills (sometimes through no fault of their own) to examine issues in a critical and reasoned manner. I am an optimist and so even though I'm a determinist, I believe that for the majority of these Nazis, their 'beliefs' are programmed, and a result of childhood experiences. This does sort of take the blame off of them in a sense, but there isn't any hope for an adult who has developed this style of thought.
