JFK debates Barry on taxes

Discussion in 'Politics' started by quantsteve, Sep 8, 2010.

  1. The issue isn't really taxes at all... it's SPENDING... on too much government, government employees being paid TOO much.. and too much social spending.

Any effort to reduce such largess and trend will likely lead to rioting in the streets. Nevertheless, our survival as a country depends upon spending being reduced to a sustainable level.

  2. TAXES WERE VERY HIGH BACK THEN WHEN KENNEDY WAS THE PRES.

RELATIVELY SPEAKING THEY ARE VERY LOW NOW.

  3. Barry's Talking Points:

    Let me be clear...

    1. I inherited the bad economy
(forget I had been Senator since 2005)

    2. Republicans are the party of No

    3. It's George Bush's fault
