Is It a Reversal or a Pullback?

This is ALL you need to know in order to trade successfully.

 

I'm currently working on being able to easily spot them. I always get confused when a bar breaks outside my trendline(s)/channel/support&res but I've made some improvements today.

 

Is this a TA thread?

 

You are right, but how exactly one should know about it?

This ain't another "Why is the Obvious Not So Obvious". I mean what I say. It doesn't matter whether you are a fundie (FA), techie (TA), or pricey (PA), trend will always be your friend...until proven "otherwise". Of course, I concur that this is easier said than done. But should you be able to tell the difference between a reversal and a pullback, I think you will be at least a head taller than any other trader, here and elsewhere. At any rate, mull over it in your spare time.

Reversal or not is not necessary to know. Knowing what will happen in the next 5 minutes is much better. Because then you always take the right direction, reversal or not.

 

I guess what happened in the last 5 minutes is the best way to guess what will happen in the next 5. Expect more of the same
