I would be more afraid of Antifa and BLM thugs who will hit you with a pipe on the head or a skateboard. On top of ganging up on you to beat you up, like 10-20 guys piling on to beat up one guy? Law abiding US citizens with guns are there to keep the peace. Oh, Antifa has guns too and we already saw the Kyle Rittenhouse case and another case, where an Antifa thug got shot by Federal agents.
National polls are fake they are part of the very large effort to demoralize Trump supporters and convince them going out to vote is pointless. Those fake polls also count on herd mentality to get some people to vote for Biden because "that's the normal things to do". Anyway if Biden wins the US economy & debt bubble will crash faster, you might think destroying the USA is a bad thing, but the faster it crashes the faster it will bounce. Americans are going to have to take the pill one day or another. A lot of their wealth came from exporting dollars and this scam cannot last forever.
Very simplistic view of polling. It's easy to discredit something that is not understood and based on propaganda. There was a lot of volatility coming into the final week of 2016 with ~20% undecided. It's a different landscape in 2020 with the already historic early turnout. I don't think there is anything that can demoralize a trump supporter if they haven't withdrawn their support already.
I am from the UK, but from here Trump looks a really awful person. I know from comments here that most people here will vote for him, but can I ask whether you think either (i) he is not an awful person, or (ii) you don't mind that he's an awful person, because you think he is good for your country. This isn't a wind up; I am genuinely interested. Even though we have quite a right wing government here in the UK, I have not met many Trump supporters at all, and most UK people (and probably most Europeans) find it hard to understand why so many people in the US would vote for him. I recall the opposite effect in the UK when Margaret Thatcher was Prime Minister, where (eventually) a huge number of people in the UK thought she was awful, but most people from overseas could not understand why the Conservative party eventually ousted her from their own party (though that was more political than personal I think).
Or maybe the Democrats can read and write while the Republicans cannot... Which means that these Republicans don't even know what a poll is and if there is one at that moment. For each event there are always two answers; one for each side.
Where do you get your news on Trump? There's your answer. We get fed the same crap, but we aren't falling for it. Have you seen his rallies the last two days? Biggest and baddest in history. The red tsunami is about to trigger a bunch of tears. ...and you will soon find out what "fuc* around and find out" means in real time when the left tries to tear up or take the stuff from the right. It won't end well. We have ALL of the guns. And ALL of the ammo.
Are you that blind not to see that extreme liberal media has been attacking President Donald Trump 24/7 non-stop even before the November 8, 2016 election? Is he arrogant, a blowhard? So what? There are a lot of arrogant people and blowhards among the European Union. Take Emmanuel Macron or Justin Trudeau? Egotistical as hell and arrogant jerks. He certainly, is not racist as portrayed by the political hacks all out there. He has helped more blacks than Obama ever did in his 8 years. What about other politicians including, those from Europe? You think your leaders are all good? The reason he takes so much flak is because he is doing his best for majority of Americans. Now, you are a foreigner, so your problem should be with your own leaders. We support President Donald Trump because we voted for him and know that not all the non-stop 24/7 lies of extreme liberal media are going to change the facts. He is the best US President ever. Now, you Europeans would not want to hear that because your interests could be in conflict with the US. That is the reality of it. President Donald Trump is President of the US and not the European Union. He has said that on more than one occasion.
"Fox News, the influential cable network launched by Rupert Murdoch in 1996, holds a unique place in the American media landscape, particularly for those on the ideological right. While Democrats in the United States turn to and place their trust in a variety of media outlets for political news, no other source comes close to matching the appeal of Fox News for Republicans." https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2020/04/08/five-facts-about-fox-news/
Exactly what others have been telling here, the news is biased. I am from Europe myself and in our local media i never saw one positive news item related to Trump, nothing but negativity and even straight out lies: bringing news items about things Trump should have said but then when you look at the actual press statement or interview, you notice Trump said or did something entirely different. Personally i don't have an opinion about either Trump or Biden since i did not really follow their campaigns, but it is obvious that the media in Europe is 100% against Trump, the negativity around him here is just absurd and pathetic.
