Hey ,guys....just dropping in to say hello. I began my first session trading real $$ last night......eeeeeyyikes....not the easiest day to start...but it was a good lesson ....struggling with the PA going nowhere all day it seemed.... waiting for London to open..... I lost $75.... but the good thing was I stayed relatively calm, worked out a plan, got back up on the bicycle, looked for a good trading moment....and recovered my loss and closed the session with a small profit. .... a successful first day.
Learned what the Psychological stress factor is . Wow....using real $$ .... what a different feeling in the beginning..... CF did you experience that? .... the stress on the first day of using real $$..... that was really the big achievement for me last night.... eliminating the stress, staying cool, forgetting about the $$ and just do what Ive been doing for the last 3 months..... It was psychologically good that I lost the $$ and good that I gained it back.... like falling off the bicycle for the first time and getting right back on....

except I think I aged 4 years last night....lol.... gotta go find some wrinkle cream now....
    have a good weekend folks.

  5. Hi CF,

Oh yeah, that's what YH teach alone.. small stop, quick in and quick out (at the end of trade).

The stops will be smaller, and more efficent (bang for buck) too.. .

How is the weekend guys? Seems like everyone is still working hard..

    Tom: all da best..

  6. Good morning all!

I expect not much action today cause it's UK and US holiday, but still will watch PA for educative purposes. :)

    Tom,

Yes, beginning real money trading is a very tough challenge. Actually, disciplined execution according to the plan is the hardest trading problem of all if you ask me.

In my personal experience - finding working setups is literally piece of cake, but growing yourself to the stage of consistent following your strategy rules is what takes years (took like 2.5 years for me before I saw that there is less pain in disciplined execution and making money in spite of some inevitable losses than in not following and being cut by little pieces every day)...
