Interactive brokers personal data policy

How long does IB keep data on accounts that have been closed? Is this information on it's website somewhere?

 

i think tax info is available 3 years or so after account is closed. why you asking?

 

Because I may want to get my records if IB still has it. What do you mean by tax info?

 

tax forms and reports for previous years..imo-most valuable thing. dunno,what else could be valuable. every trade is on Sch D..
try to login,if you can't-call them and ask for temp password\code. don't understand,why you are asking this very specific question on public forum first,instead of asking them directly to get right info from the source.they do have offices all over the world,open 24/4. call,email.
