Illinois is toast like Cali. God Bless Texas!!

  4. Fucking disgusting. I had great University Years in Chicago and I had a great 9 years of Trading and living in that once Awesome city.

I am now in Texas.....where Capitalism and Freedom are practiced.

MOT can stay in IL for all Texas Cares. More business are moving to Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio than to any other state.

MOT will end up paying the price in the long run.

For the rest of the "TAXED TO DEATH" companies in IL who are not in the pocket of the Scum Bag Liberals....COME ON DOWN!

    +1.

Texas is one of the last forms of what the USA is about. We never had any crazy housing bubble nor liberal tax to death killing jobs crap. We have no state income tax and we basically kick everyone's ass. Add all that to the hottest women in the Country ;-). Saying that, I am from Oklahoma and moved here 13 years ago for job after school. OK is mini-me version of Texas...voted one of the best places to live and business (Oklahoma City). Anyways, Boomer Sooner and Go Thunder and I Love the South....but you liberal's don't come down here too much...errr..just go hang out in Austin and let Texas be Texas!

But seriously....the biggest threat to the USA is not terrorism....it is liberal, taxing, socialists. Period. Look at Europe and that disaster (not to mention the trading tax they are trying to implement). Liberal's will never learn and continue to spew lies for power.

I agree. But the sad sad fact is Chicago is going down the shitter.

I'm sure that the "Locals" (CME, CBOE, CBOT) are not happy withthe way things are going as far as taxation. I'm sure the unemployed graduating from the Great Academic Institutions in Chicago are not happy.

To see such a great city turn into Detroit is sicking. Even though I am a NYCer, my years spent in Chi-town were some of the best and the people that I become friends with, deserve more from their city. They do not want to go the way NYC has gone.

Yet, if Chicago does go the way of Detroit or NYC, which is looking more and more a reality, then so be it as I can't change that.

All I can say is, bring your trading offices to Texas, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, or Dallas. Get your small business as far away from IL as you can. Otherwise, sink with the rest of the Scum leaches who will slowly bleed you to death.

I wish it wasn't so, oh well who is John Galt.

  8. Texas is just about the most socialized state in the US. Take out the bloated military-industrial complex and insane levels of taxpayer-funded pork barrel spending, and the state would be riddled with even more poverty than it already has.

In terms of "capitalism" or "libertarian economics", Texas is a complete and utter failure.

  9. How are these political tax deals not construed as a kick back?

If motorola made any campaign contributions and receive beneficial tax treatment all involved should be charged for bribery.

Need one set of rules that everyone plays by for a fair and orderly market.

If they believe the taxes are too high let them move or lower them for everyone.

  10. Now, now... Just because somebody told you the markets are fair doesn't mean that they are fair.

The man with the 3 card monte table will have you believe his game is fair.

How is he different from the Top Dogs at Wall Street hmm? Take away all the big buildings and corporate facades and you have men with identical motives.
