Icahn: 'Schizophrenic' Market Perilous - warns of "bloodbath"

  1. Carl Icahn, the hedge fund manager who rose to prominence as a "corporate raider" in the 1980s, warned of a potential "bloobath" that could come if there is another market downturn.

    Talking to CNBC on Friday, billionaire Icahn called the financial market “schizophrenic” that could hit the "amatuer investor" hard.

    "Some of these fund managers I do not think are experienced enough to handle some of the distressed stuff they are buying and they’re going to get burned,” he said.

    Icahn is an activist shareholder who is known for poxy battling company management.
