IB TWS: "Trader Workstation is unable to communicate with the web site you are trying to access

    Getting this message on attempts to initiate Live Chat & Send of Secure Message

    TWS however is posting real-time chart & data update.

    Anyone else seeing this ?

    Yes; I'm having the same error message when trying to access "account manager homepage" from TWS.

    Thanks, I'm familiar w/ that config and confirm it's correct by running TWS menu cmd

    Help/Guides and Documentation/Online User's Guide

    which brings up the page in Chrome, to which that config has been set a long time.
     
  4. So maybe the Account Management website was not available at the time you tried to access it via TWS? That website is being used in case you want to send a Secure Message to IB.

    Maybe, but Live Chat was also unavailable, don't know if that's separate a component or not.
    Many pieces in the chain, too little info for diagnosis.
