I have few IB accounts for years And I signed all the agreements where IB covers their A$$ legally with the whole they are not responsible for bad trades and so on. All the standard stuff ...... BUT NOW, I receive IB priority message out of the blue where they state in BOLD CAPITAL letters (several times in the document) how in case of political or economic phenomena, they are not responsible if suddenly I can't access my accounts, or if electricity is gone, or if market crashes. Now call me paranoid, but January 12 or something like that Obama is finalizing laws regarding internet kill switch. And call me paranoid even more, BUT in the world where US markets are kept afloat by 40-60 billion a month Federal Reserve printouts. Maybe IB is covering their A$$ because they know something we don't.
If no one shows up to corroborate this. I will post the document info I received. Also, if no one corroborates this by 2 days or so, that means this site has very few Real Traders. ------------ bottom line is I am not saying I am 100% right, but I am a suspicious son of a Bi**
Can you just post the document now? There are also representatives on this forum from that particular brokerage firm. Perhaps they can chime in? However, I'd suspect that if untrue (or if you were, e.g., somehow mistaken, and received the info erroneously), they might want to simply ignore, as would others. Just a hunch.
You made quite a leap from a message you say you received from IB to Obama's internet kill switch. Then you throw around accusations of not being "real traders" whatever that is. I've received nothing but routine messages from IB lately. Maybe you should consult your doctor about adjusting your medication dosage.

Let's assume you are right. Can you devise a plan to profit from this information? How heavily is reality manipulated for you specifically, either in your consciousness, or externally? Is solipsism the real explanation? Or, if the behavior of the markets is truly independent of your decision making process, surely you can come up with a plan to profit from your notions?
