nice to see their assets growing I wonder if they have ever been approached by some other firm who wants into wall street trading without doing the crunchwork required to get to this size ... how much they would pay and wish that all the customers would get a cut based on number of yrs and commissions generated at IB
ib has really become a giant in the last 5 years. i hardly know a trader who doesn't have at least 1 account with them. i've been with thyem 4 years are so and never had 1 problem.
FYI Interactive Brokers holds $5 billion of customer equity. As per website. http://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/general/about/ibgStrength.php?ib_entity=ca
I'm a piker on the commisions side, but I have been with IB since 2000, yes 2000. Do I get a cupie doll?
What is the difference between customer liability/equity capital ($2.7bn) and customer equity ($5bn)?
