Hi, I'm trying the java API (I don't have an IB account). I'm currently experimenting with the demo made available from IB. do you know which stocks are available on which I can download historical data, receive real time feeds (I know are delayed) and buy on paper mode? In order to subscribe I have to fill this data: ( I try EUR/USD, but over historical data i receive Historical Market Data Service error message:No historical market data for EUR/CASH@FXSUBPIP Last 1d so I presume I need to proper set the stock I can use)
Ideal pro is fx and is chargeable. IB lite is for stocks but has no api. IB pro is $1 minimum per ticket.
