I hate FOMC day

Anyone else sit these days out?

 

What do you trade that this would make you want to sit out?

 

ES. It's usually chop until the annoucement and then an explosion. I wait until after the announcement.

 

Today is FOMC Minutes day. Not the full FOMC rate announcement day. Although the minutes do move the market, the 'explosion' is rarely on the same scale.

 

Yeah, that's true. Anything FOMC I like to avoid, but you're right. I mixed up my dates. I think I need more coffee.

 

I love FOMC minutes day.

it gives us the opportunity to earn $$$.
Only problem is that I have to wake up in the middle of the night to trade news.
