futures up dramatically after a synchronized rate cut then they free fall. down big early then dow futures are up 150 after the announcement then drop to down 200. this is amazing and all i can do is just watch in awe at the power of this bear market. this is much worse than 2000,much worse than 1998.much worse than 1987. 2000 was just a bunch of over priced tech stocks free falling,this time its the financial ssystem thats collapsing and confidence in the system is collapsing. the DOW is down almost 5000 points from the high in november,thats a 5000 point drop in less than a year!
i agree, but put it in context, 5000 points off of 14200 in % terms I think its off like 30-33% which is a lot in a year.
We will need to test the lows before reversing............................................................................................................................. the 1932 lows that is!!!
