Hey All, I've been a big time lurker and I figured I would start a journal. I've been slowly finding out what's important to become successful, so I figure this will me stay focused and serious to achieving my personal goals. Currently I have $200, and I want to sniff out 12 sequential winners that will increase my balance by 50% on each trade to come out with $25,000 in 1 year trading equity options. So, I will list my expectations, my entry, and "hopeful" exit on every trade I do. Trade 1 Begin $200 - Buy 3 Dell Feb 22.5C @ .55 End $300 - Est. Sell 3 Sell Feb 22.5C @ 1.10 Trade 2 Begin $300 End $450 Trade 3 Begin $450 End $675 Trade 4 Begin $675 End $1012.50 Trade 5 Begin $1012.50 End $1518.75 Trade 6 Begin $1518.75 End $2278.13 Trade 7 Begin $2278.13 End $3417.19 Trade 8 Begin $3417.19 End $5125.78 Trade 9 Begin $5125.78 End $7688.67 Trade 10 Begin $7688.67 End $11533.01 Trade 11 Begin $11533.01 End $17299.51 Trade 12 Begin $17299.51 End $25949.27
Good luck. My honest advice would be to forgo this "game" and sim trade while making money at a real job. When you have more, say four figures worth, and you have proven yourself on the sim, have a go at it for real. Your hourly rate starting with a $200 account is not going to be worthwhile... you're better off at McDonalds.
I'm just playing for fun with $200. Anyways, I've started a blog if you guys are interested at all. http://stkblog.blogspot.com/
