Hugh Hendry: Soros has embraced socialism

  1. I wouldnt really call the military socialist. I mean, first off, they spend way more than they bring in financially. They can earn higher ranks, more power and greater pay the harder they work which isnt really making everyone equal. If they get stuck at a rank and cant advance, they have the option to leave the military and go out and try to make it on their own.

    For socialism to work, you need 5 things. Initiative, inventivness, hope, optimism and faith. Socialism generally destroys initiative and inventivness right off the bat and it doesnt do much for hope & optimism either. But at least you got faith that the government check is going to be in the mail every week.

    Two/3 other problems with socialism.
    A]People still like private property.Solomon, the wealthiest, wisest billionaire that ever lived, favored capitalism, not socialism or communism.

    Z] Dietrich Bonhoffer defined socialism as attempt to make history wihout God.The gov[or Algore] simply is not as good as God ;

  3. Where I live participation is mandatory by the state, and regulated by the state. It works because it is regulated and mandated by the state. The market is competitive and free to the companies qualified and wanting to participate.

    when I was 22 I was playing a tennis circuit in yugoslavia.
    It was on red clay.

    When I was done with a match, 8 sad looking guys got up from their 10:am beers and swept the court we played on and then sat down and started drinking and smoking again.

    When I was 13 I swept 7 courts all by myself for a little bit more than minimum wage.

    Socialism destroys nations and men.

  5. Sounds like the goal of socialist equality was achieved. They equally got the same amount of cigarettes, beer and unhappiness. The unhappiness caused by not being able to create more wealth to buy more than just beer and cigarettes. The unhappiness caused by not being able to create or serve a purpose or to fulfill a dream or life purpose.

    For the masses, socialism achieves it's stated goal - equal misery for all. For the elite, socialism also achieves their goal - a life of relative luxury. And for the haters of life, socialism achieves their goal - the destruction of dreams. Pretty much win-win-win for the left.
