Hi Guys, How to Find the percentage of Short interest in the Float of a Stock ? Does IB TWS provide this info ? Or any other portal maybe ? Thank you
IB is supposed to have it (file -> new window -> fundamental data -> short interest). HOWEVER, this has not worked for me in a long time. Every request returns with "No Data." Etrade has the info for free, can't speak to the reliability of the info, but seems reasonable to me. Search for a symbol, go to the fundamental data. "Short interest as % of Float" under the "SHAREHOLDER EQUITY" SECTION.
