I had a demo account there but it expired. I tried to create another one with a new email address and it said "you already have an account with us." Um... So I deleted all the OEC cookies and tried again with a 3rd email address. Same problem. I tried using the proxy hidemyass and still had the same problem. OEC's demo accounts are only 14 days and then they charge you to keep them open longer. That's highly annoying, especially considering other companies give you free demo accounts for life. So whenever I needed to play around with something in futures, I'd just make a new one with a new email address, but apparently that doesn't work anymore. Anyone have any workarounds? Maybe I should just go with another company who doesn't have some stupid 14 day rule. Are you ready for the funniest part? I HAVE AN ACTUAL ACCOUNT WITH OEC AND THEY STILL WON'T GIVE ME AN UNLIMITED DEMO ACCOUNT. Yes, I think it's time to close my account and fine a new broker. Suggestions? I really liked OEC. Their order entry and modification system was awesome.
