Nowdays, I'm looking for a basket of about 20 stocks to watch and pick from for day trading on 5 minute charts. Something in the $15 to 30 dollar price range. Want to be flat at the end of the day and start anew the next morning. Any suggestions? How about a good online stock screener recommendation? If it feels good, down the road will look at blood simple options trades, say, take entry and exit signals off the chart but instead of buying the stock, buy puts and calls at around the 50% Delta, see if I can get the beak wet. Yea the site is impressive. It's really cool that it has average daily volatility. My only problem is that it takes a lot of margin to play with all of the opportunities. Regulation T requires like 50% cash against short stock positions and 25% cash against longs intraday. Just one good long/short trade is gonna eat some serious margin from your account. Tough game unless you have big money to play with. Good trading to you.
