  4. Sounds about right.

    The article goes on...

So what do these commonalities tell us about how to prevent future shootings?

One step needs to be depriving potential shooters of the means to carry out their plans.

This can best be acheived by banning certain "assault style" weapons and all handguns.

I'm amazed this article was in Zero Brains.

Meanwhile more people died in the last 36 hours from medical errors than all the mass shootings in the last 40 years combined. More people died in the last 10 days from car accidents than all the mass shootings of the last 40 years combined. Are you scared of doctors? Are you scared of cars?

But some of you are scared of mass shootings? This is obviously an agenda being pushed to scare you into giving up your rights. They make you scared and then tell you the only way to stop you from being scared is to give up your guns. Makes no sense.

We should make drugs illegal while we're at it.

When it comes to things like medical errors and car accidents there is an effort to prevent them. I saw a clip on twitter, I can’t remember who, but they were right.

There are seat belt laws, drunk driving laws, crash tests, licensing, insurance etc etc for cars.

There are safety ratings and law suits and medical board reviews etc for medical errors.

With guns there is zero effort and oversight.

  10. That's nonsense. Name one other Constitutional right that is subjected to as many regulatory restrictions as firearms.

We have sweeping state and federal gun laws already, plus an entire federal agency assigned to police them.
