I have no doubt that she is brilliant but academic institutions are given to jealous and political jostling.

Ahhh...she should be barefoot and pregnant, and gettin' my samitch and beer!

 

Good for her. She doesnt sound like the type that would have to go to her safe space with her therapy dog if some guy at google says something controversial about her or about women in science and technology.

Not sure I would want to have a "can women really code" discussion with her.

 

I'm sure she has had her share of sexism in the academic world.
