I use mostly charts, DOM and T&S day trading US equities. I would have considered another broker but I am located in Asia atm so IB seems like the best option for me here.

In terms of front end, I can probably get by with TWS but I don't particular like its T&S if I were looking for clues re: price action. I have used eSignal before and that's probably worth considering but I am wondering if there are cheaper better options out there?

Still in beta, however, anyone wanting an intuitive charting package for IB, this is it. Just waiting for trading implementation.

forums.medvedtraders.com without the 's' i presume. Just looked at that website, looks like it will take a while more before we see a stable product and website!

    Yup, without the "s"...

Regarding stable: I've been running MT for 2+ months, lots of charts /4 monitors...very stable. Using IB as my feed.

    Good luck.

with sierra charts i presume you wouldn't be using IB data, but just using it for execution and then another 3rd party data provider?

  7. it can use IB data, plus many others. Free trial. Drive it around the block.

Of all of the platforms I tried it is IMO the easiest one to move around the chart.

I like crosshairs but not all of the time, 1 click on chart, to toggle off and on. Don't know of any other platforms that do that.

  9. I do. Nothing simpler than that. There are softwares where in addition you can even turn it on/off while still moving your mouse. How about that? So what's the big deal?

  10. He was talking about trading not simulation.
