"A teen girl had a dead baby in her bag when she was stopped for suspected shoplifting at Victoria's Secret on 34th Street Thursday, according to police. Security officers detected a strong odor while inspecting the bags of the girl and her friend, who are both 17, and discovered the baby, police said. The girl told police she suffered a miscarriage a day earlier. The baby did not have signs of trauma, sources said. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death. The teen, who police say is from Brooklyn, was taken to Bellevue Hospital.
