David Nutt Develops 'Alcohol Substitute' Drug That Could Mean Getting Drunk Without The Hangover http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/201...g-hangover_n_4259086.html?utm_hp_ref=uk&ir=UK From the article "It could be a dream come true. Scientists have developed a drug which mimics all the positive effects of being drunk, without any of the health risks, addiction - or, crucially, hangovers."
Iâd love to read the paper about this. Given that itâs being funded by a public institution, Iâm guessing the research would be published in an academic review journal.
I think such a drug would be awesome and sell really well. The question is how would it be sold/added? Would the alcohol be removed from current drinks and then this drug added as a substitute? Or would it be sold separate and then you can add to anythingâ¦
If Obama would brew beer, and play golf 24/7 instead of destroying my country, I'd actually start drinking again; his brand, "Bro-Bama." Lol
I'd welcome this vs what I knew, meaning too much drink. I can attest that alcohol is the most addictive thing I've ever encountered in my life. It's also the most destructive... For normies, I'm sure this substance would be a hit. For me, no.
I drink but unlike some family and friends I don't have an addiction problem with it or anything else. I can't imagine having an addiction problem. My opinion is that a susceptibility to addiction is maybe something we're born with because it doesn't affect all of us the same way or maybe it's psychological, I don't know but it's deeper than just willpower.
There are no positive effects of being drunk, but there are positive feelings from it I suppose or else people wouldnât do it.
