  1. German exports dropped for a fifth month in February, pushing Europe’s largest economy deeper into recession.

Sales abroad, adjusted for working days and seasonal changes, fell 0.7 percent from January, when they slipped a revised 7.4 percent, the Federal Statistics Office in Wiesbaden said today. Economists expected a 3.3 percent decline, according to the median of nine forecasts in a Bloomberg News survey. Exports fell 4 percent in December and 11 percent in November.
