  1. To try to get people who don't trade forex to sign up with them, FXCM started some managed accounts. I don't know if they trashed these accounts on purpose for example by taking the opposite trades once their were enough suckers, I mean customers stuck in the accounts, or they really don't have anyone working there that can actually trade forex. This is also funny since they have paid courses for suckers, I mean traders to take.

    Minimum Deposit: $5,000.00 US

    RANGE STRATEGIES PROGRAM

    -10.05% Since Inception (March 2008 - November 2008)
    Minimum Deposit: $5,000.00 US
This program is composed of medium-term strategies that look to catch market reversals and take advantage of ranging market conditions. It utilizes both SSI-based and price-based strategies. While the risk of loss still exists, they are expected to perform well during ranging market conditions with medium to low volatility.

    DYNAMIC MULTI-STRATEGY PROGRAM

    -7.22% Since Inception (April 2008 - November 2008)
    Minimum Deposit: $5,000.00 US
This program looks to incorporate both the strategies found in the Trend and Range programs in an attempt to balance the different possible market conditions. Its overall performance would depend on the relative profits or losses of these two systems.

This thread is fairly pointless. I would put my money on the contention that they just can't trade. A poll won't prove the cause of the losses one way or another.

They just can't trade....no conspiracy behind the scenes.

  4. 4%, 20%, 10% drawdowns are blow ups?

you guys are showing your trading ignorance ... unless you work for the competition--which is likely. :D :D

ps--- on another note, how are they losing ANY money if they are the bucket shop like many elite traders claim? makes no sense.

  5. Yeah, not bad when the stock mkt was down 35% in 08...

Compare the "performance results" with other "Managed Forex accounts" that have paid profit of +150% to +200% from conservative risk structure trading for Year 2008

Laughable! You can't compare ANYTHING to those standards.

  8. This thread should have ended following the above post.

Possibly, however a timeframe is required to make a more informed judgement. 4% over a year is hardly a blowup. Yet 4% in 2-4 weeks is a clear red flag.

Parameters are lacking in this thread...

You missed the words "conservative risk structure trading"
