Hi, Does anyone have any experience in dealing with Jefferies (the investment bank) or have any insight into them, in particular with respect to their services as a clearing broker?
Depends on the markets you trade. But from my point of view Jefferies are just fine and stable. For PB account seem to be more solid that big Wall Street Firms.
they should be fine on any listed US options. dont know about commission. coz I couldnt get good deal with them for me. Also they used to have about USD 1.5 million as minimum size of PB account for portfolio margining. Sorry dont know current situation.
You are welcome. If you want to ask me more about US listed options, do sent PM. Looks like we are in the same corner of the market.
We clear through Jefferies and therefor highly recommend them. If you prime through Jefferies and are looking for an alternate execution broker with multiple trading platforms and direct NYSE floor access for market intelligence and color, give us a call.
