(strange...didn't see this at all in the MSM ) Concludes a blanket ban of carry of handguns outside the home cannot survive ANY level of scrutiny, and is therefore unconstitutional. http://legalinsurrection.com/2014/0...strikes-down-washington-dc-handgun-carry-ban/
To see it in the MSN , you have to read them , foolish boy. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Court Strikes Down D.C. Ban on Carrying Guns in Public. A federal judge has struck down Washington D.C.âs ban on carrying handguns outside the home as unconstitutional. http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/court-strikes-down-d-c-ban-carrying-guns-public-n165891
So, sooner or later, probably sooner, open carry will be universal, regardless of local statutes. Open carry, that is, of guns that are carried for "self-defense". Add to this the increasing popularity of "stand your ground" laws. You have your gun. He has his. He looks at you in what you perceive to be a threatening way. Hmmm
Open carry is already legal in over 40 states. Over half the states have some form of SYG law. A simple extension of castle laws outside of the home. For those of you who get your firearms law "knowledge" from MSNBC or Piss Morgan A common and rather tired meme of the bleeding heart uninformed/ignorant anti-gun pussies.
what is you point... that somehow when all 50 follow the constution those law abiding citizens with guns in the 40 states will change? or is it that just the people in the fascists will go nuts with guns? your point was completely shot down by realty. i realize pro fascist leftists hate to let reality intrudes but your distinction made no sense.
I said that sooner or later open carry would become universal. We have 50 states. 40 is not universal. 50 is universal. If you're still confused, just google Wiktionary for "universal".
we know you are trying to act like your distinction was important and that things will get scary at 50. But luke pointed out we are already at 40. But, playing your game... what is it that will be different about 50 than 40 -- which apparently we currently have?
