The economic aftermath of the Fed's current activities have not been mentioned by Bernanke or others....

What has been mentioned are consequences of no Fed action....

The economy is the economy stupid ....

It can support what it can support....

The banks lost amounts exceeding all depositors' trusted deposits....

How is a AAA rating possible ?

And what is left over is what is left to price the assets that are leftover by those who saved....But no...the Fed wants to take over as "the economy"....
Which the "most educated ivy leaguers" cannot even see through....

Geithner....ie says he is powerless to pay less than 100 cents on the dollar to Goldman Sachs.....who cannot wait for the public to forget about the AIG situation....when in fact a simple gesture to the congress would have taken all of two minutes....

    So the question is ....

Just who is it that really has a handle on the end game of the Fed strategy and other government impositions....?

    ..........................................................
By the way....Bush, Cheney, Rice, and Rumsfield cannot wait to cash in on selling the public their books....to make some more dough...."could have been free on the internet"....

They want to sell you "the secret"....

Should be in jail or worse with a lot of others....
    .........................................................

All in all....makes for good entertainment....and hopefully more volatility for trading....

The US is being run like a "fraternal soap opera" full of hollow actors.....

Just a big show with no real plan for the ending....

It's like the War on Poverty. It started forty years ago.. What is the exit strategy? Where are the results??? Poverty is with us, illiteracy is way up, moral are down, crime is up.... Will this economic crisis last forty years?? Stay tuned...

We really don't have economic disasters, they are really Political Disasters because leaders with knowledge, character, and brains could avert all of it. We don't find knowledge, character, and brains together very often, in it's place we find political agenda, crooks /loonies, and a food supply that doesn't support brain health... it's not going to change, so learn to ride out the insanity the best way you can...

    Very good summary...Maxpi....

One has to experience living in both developed and developing countries to understand why some events are meaningful and necessary in order such that an economy can accomplish what it seemingly needs to accomplish....

The fact is that either population will live out each day ....one way or another....

What is rather amazing is that there are many recent examples of what not to do....just a few hours south of the US....

One wonders why the supposed intelligent ones just want to repeat common mistakes....

Intelligent people nowadays are terribly misinformed. In any university you can take reasoning that would get you an F in philosophy 101, walk down the hall to the Medical, Anthro, Econ, etc., departments and get an A with it... circular reasoning especially is prevalent in the Anthro [not to mention huge doses of ethnocentricity] and Geology area and badly assigning cause and effect is prevalent in the others.. I pay zero attention to any of them, their world view is the most sadly messed up thing I've ever encountered.. fools in their folly are to be avoided. You can do your own due diligence in any area of knowledge you want to and you will be surprised at what you can do on your own...
