Thank you. Massive liquidation in the works. This one is even a little better: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SR0KX-INTEL...330127?hash=item41a1e9d3cf:g:IckAAOSwzhVWrZBO
I've been eyeing a Xeon Laptop for a while -- the Thinkpad P50, Xeon processor option ...But my current 2011 HP EliteBook laptop is more than fine...still has plenty of life left.
The price fell down further. Amazing, as a trader one learns the importance of patience as a primary virtue in many a market..
Anyone find an inexpensive motherboard for these ? The ones I'm seeing are all $300 + (is the $55 IBM Thinkcentre M58 USFF really compatible with the Xeon processor ?)
You can find a barebones HP Z620 workstation, or another Z series workstation or a Dell Precision T series WS for less on the auction site. With a great case, ventilation and power supply
bump: Anyone can share their experience in case they have built a dual CPU E5-2670 system? Which mainboard are you using? Thanks
You can really compile good system for that matter here really. I buy everything on AliExpress though I am not sure about you. They may not support latest games, but system on them are really really productive and that's it, all what you need to know an have.
