Discussion in 'Politics & Religion' started by bearice, Apr 14, 2011.

  1. 1) 12% of the websites on the internet are pornographic, that's 24,644,172 sites

    2) Every second, $3,075.64 is spent on pornography. Every second 28,258 internet users are veiwing porn.

    3) 40 million americans are regular visitors to porn sites. 1 in 3 porn viewers are women (ok, this surprises me).

    4) The entire worldwide porn industry is worth $4.9 billion. In the US, internet porn is worth $2.84 billion.

    5) 2.5 billion emails per day are pornographic.

    6) 25% of all search engine requests are porn related.

    7) 35% of all internet downloads are porn related.

    8) "sex", "adult dating", "porn" are the most popular search terms.

    9) Utah has the nation's highest online porn subscription rate per thousand home broadband users at 5.47 (Utah? Home of mormons?)

    10) 34% of internet users have received unwanted porn.

    11) There are 116,000 searches for "child porn" every day (now, that's evil).

    12) The average age at which a child first sees porn online is 11.

    13) 20% of men admit to watching porn online at work. Likewise, 13% of women do (really?)

    14) The least popular day of the year for viewing porn is Thanksgiving. The most popular day of the week for viewing porn? Sunday.

  2. World Gross domestic product is $70 Trillion per year so $158 billion per year world pornography is only 0.25% of World economy.

When world pornography is destroyed, no problem. World economy will not be affected/changed with the destruction of 0.25% money.

Immediately shut down world pornography otherwise $158 billion will destroy $70 Trillion.

  3. I have to admit these statistics made me laugh. 20% of men watch porn at work??? I would never even consider doing that! Maybe its just because I don't have my own private office with a window to my back but damn...

And porn seems to be really lucrative! I'd love to get a cut of that 2.8 billion and have some fun while at it!

    Hahaha, those raunchy Mormons!

  4. The majority of internet traffic is pornography, and probably over three quarters of the male population with access to it, use it, so there's going to be a hell of a lot of murderers and rapists in the near future. In fact, that's pretty much all society is going to consist of. According to statistics, 40% of visitors to porn sites are women.

  5. Does that mean porn is an engine of growth? Uh, maybe that's the wrong phrase.... :D

Oh crap!! 40% of women are rapists and murderers!!!

  6. George Bush had said "if you habour terrorists, you are terrorists".

Nobody will be spared. The guilty will be punished. It does not matter how high profile or big or small you are. Nobody can do anything. God's rule/law.

Bushes have been eradicated from porn. Nobody wants to see that anymore. The more important question is how do I get in on the action? Is there an ETF that tracks porn?

  8. Good life is more important than money. It is better to die rather than touch dirty money (God' rule/law)

You have it backwards. The point of having money is to have good sex. Women are wildly attracted to powerful men and money is power.

The entire purpose of one's life is to propagate one's genetic material into the next generation. A chicken is nature's way of producing another egg.

  10. I made most of my capital from porn. Maybe 50%
The time is over for easy money, hell I made it when I was 16-19, so it was "easy" money for those who were persistant enough.

Now, don't even think about it, porn is way too competitive with free content, Most content producing shops have closed down.

    a) magazines are almost shut down
    b) all the top sites give away free porn.
    c) hard to compete with $0 free.

Its no growth industry now. move on , like I did 5 years ago. right before the advent of tubes :D
Do I have good timing or what.
