I know commodity futures and options are Section 1256 contracts, thats why they are marked-to-market at the end of each tax year. How about ETF options? Are they considered nonequity options? Thanks.
Found the answer! So I am going to answer my own question: ETFs options are not considered IRC Section 1256 contracts. So they ARE NOT marked-to-market at the end of each tax year.
