But you didn`t, did you? Thanks NoDoji. It felt nice resuming my live trading with a winner, although my profit target got hit as I had projected. Now, let the winners run and cut the losses short. I know, I know... Please Nexen. It`s getting old. Worry about your own trading and let Schizo worry about his. I don`t think you`re adding anything to this thread by relentlessly criticizing others methods. Let`s keep it friendly and constructive. Amen to that. The criticism against "bears" in this thread is ridiculous from an intraday perspective. I do however understand the concern about trying to pick a top as a position/swing trader, but fortunately that`s not my problem.
nexen, you dont make calls...hard to make money on complaints, those who can do, those who can't ...whine about it
I'm sorry your bearish ass is hurting but Ive advised you plenty of times to stop fighting the trend until it changes. I cant post exact entries and stops like you guys do because i scale in and out of positions and i have no intentions due to the time it takes but you know very well what side ive been trading and what kind of calls ive been making. Sore loser.
It might be a lack of awareness on my part, but I`m not sure if I`ve seen you post any real time trades in a while? Entry? Stop loss? Profit target? If so, my apologies in advance. I will not put you on ignore yet, as I do believe you have much to contribute with. It`s just getting lost with all your criticism.
Back to live trading. One trade. +1,5 points. Nice execution, but somewhat nervous and premature exit.
- nexen -did you jump back on that long or did this mountain climb leave without you =or are you still scaling
I exited that swing last night before IB close completely. Expecting resistance at 85-86, the market blew through that and as u well know gaped up so I made ZERO money on that overnight move. Today I traded it with a bullish bias buying two pullbacks, one around 10AM and exited about 1.5 points above previous highs and the other one around 3:30PM on the test of 5 min 20 EMA until the highs this one i posted on the journal.
Ammo posts entries, adds, reductions, when he's flat, when he takes a loss, and almost all his trades are scale-in/scale out. ES is pretty slow-moving, making it easy to post trades. Anyone can post calls because there's no risk. But I haven't seen you post actual trades. What I've found is that the successful traders on ET walk the walk, not just make calls. What is the point of posting criticism, unless it's useful? I mean, trading long only with no stops and averaging down is far less professional than ammo's style of trading short and averaging down, but with a plan for how to exit a losing trade where price violates his parameters. Have you noticed that not only does ammo post his trades, he also knows how to cut losses and regroup for the next setup. I'd rather be a counter-trend fader with a specific exit plan than a with-trend trader with no risk management because I "know" that price "always" does a certain thing.
I very much use risk management, I stated scaling in and out of trades and that is vastly different from what you stated so don't put words in my mouth. I am also very much capable of shorting but when my swing based system confirms that not when the ET board thinks its "too high"; again dont put words in my mouth, Im not a permabull, I'm just a trend trader. Ammo is very detailed in his trading calls and for that I commend him I have zero interests in doing that, for what, for some public board? Be glad i post what i post, if you dont like it, ignore me, if you do, learn and stfu.
