Out @ 1304,50. + 1,5 points on the trade! I had forgotten how sweaty my palms get when trading live I still think we might test, close at or even surpass the daily highs, but the price action made me nervous and I thought it would be great to resume live trading with my first trade being a winner! It might have a positive psychological effect, who knows
How simple it can be. Not the kind of day where you short, and if you are thinking long term short swing, only a newbie would initiate the swing mid day, you wait until the close because momentum is against you. That goes for big ego salivo lol
Fed's Hoenig says QE3 "may get discussed" Feb 1 (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve could debate extending its bond-buying program beyond June if U.S. economic data prove weaker than policymakers expect, Kansas City Fed President Thomas Hoenig said. http://www.zerohedge.com/article/here-comes-qe3-hoenig-says-more-quantitatve-easing-be-discussed
LF, I was typing with someone on Skype and at 3:19pm ET, I told him I was really tempted to buy ES there, right about the price and time you were closing your position Glad you got a winner!
Thereâs money to be made in both directions, usually faster to the short side and a bit more slowly to the long side. ES dropped about 20 pts in 6 hours last week, then took over a day and a half to retrace that move this week. The profit looks, smells and spends the same no matter which direction you trade to get it. Iâd be willing to bet that âmoronâ on Velocity Futures leaderboard didnât make half a million dollars Friday by trading ES to the long side.
These are mad men. How high must food and energy go to get the wackos off this policy. Can't they see this is hurting the most vulnerable people in society.
