summation today before I head to the airport. Bears ran with the ball, and have control of it, first half, they can capitalize on the first half bearish tint, and get others on board for the 2nd half for a momo push down. The only thing that can turn it, is the bears themselves. The cash chart is indicating a blowout phase isn't in yet, so I would be suspect of this bearish first half, net bearish positions wont be maintained as long as the FED rate cut overhangs.
There's still plenty of time left in the day, and while the market was sold pretty hard, it couldn't drop below the lowest piovt on the chart. My vote is it works back to at least 1468 area (10 pts from bottom), if not 1474 (strong resistance). I'll go do some laundry while it figures itself out. Good trading, JJ
This is already late in the day for me. I seldom trade after 1PM unless I get caught with my pants down .... like today. I am hoping for 1470 to be hit today so that I can sleep tonight. If this thing turns south, off to the store I go to get that pack of cigarettes.
