I can't disagree that it makes sense, but is it really useful? Not sure if you saw my other post where I particularly question volume analysis on a thick instrument like ES. I'm sure it's far more useful on single equities. Tuesday the 7th of April so far resembles today: A large gap up which is sold hard on higher volume than the preceding day. What happened next? The market rallied 250 + points from that Tuesday's Close.
Volume - It's useful to confirm a trend or support/resistance..use it within the context of current PA/chart pattern. This is how I use it.
