Yeah. You may be right. Even if we sell lower and sustain a bear market it may very well be that the % change and ranges will contract compared to what we've seen recently.
Bingo. The easy fast money is over with . Bears have been very aggressive now thus providing a sort of net under the mkt so you'll see a lot of bounces . The initial shock is over and the world is the most negative possibly in history(rightfully so). But it means incredible amounts of shorts out their so any piece of not so armageddon news provides huge rallys. Since most on here traders our job is to capture tiny pieces of moves with minimal risk.
Well - we opened down - 3,81 %, so... Point is - the 6-10 % daily moves may not happen as frequently moving forward.
As I mentioned before, we are in the midst now of the slow grind back up to ATHs.----Patience---- and take low risks.
So far, the daily range is 30,50 points by 11:00. That's the smallest since this sell-off started and half the average (70 points). The nearest match would be the 5th of March at 32,25 points - where the day range expanded to 86 points by the Close and printing the LOD in the last hour. Could easily see that today too.
Congrats to everyone who kept longing / held there longs. This been one of the most difficult days for me to trade in a long time, or at the least the most frustrating. I've noticed a pattern every time I am looking for a level on a longer time frame, it just freezes me in my tracks from taking smaller chart setups as they come. Wasn't willing to risk it, so can't complain but this is like third time in a row I've done this, is really just an excuse in reality as I had profits could of risked some.
Is that the day where the entire morning choppy rally turned out to be a bear flag? This is the cash right now. Bear flag with overthrow perhaps?
Quite possible. My main hypothesis is that we're indeed 'flagging' higher into the 2520 level as a maximum and that we'll sell off from there. If that level is cleared and left behind - I suppose it's quite likely the LOD is in and that we will just grind higher up towards yesterday's close.
