In a stunning upset propelled by tea party activists, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) was defeated in Tuesday’s congressional primary, with insurgent David Brat delivering an unpredicted and devastating loss to the second most powerful Republican in the House who has widely been touted as a future speaker.

The race called shortly after 8 p.m. Eastern by the Associated Press.

We got rid of an establishment traitor today. A very powerful one. A great step forward. Yes we can take back america.
We can stop the spending, get rid of the taxes, keep the border secure and return americans to productive prosperity.
Perhaps we can stop the extracting of america.

Wow, you arent fucking with us are you? Cantor had a 13 point lead like a week ago, atleast the republicans managed to take out 1 piece of trash, I: would have paid good money to be in the room when he was told he lost. The guy encapsulates everything that is wrong with politicians, he even looks like a svum bag.

Unfortunately Boehner and McConnel made it through.....

  9. Yeah but this is the political equivalent of a horse's head in their bed.
