This is a serious thread so if you’re a moron go to another thread. If you have any actual critical thoughts or insightful analysis to add by all means post away. No clowns. No retards. Totally open ended thread... ***2020*** Interesting topics of discussion: Will Democrats rebuild the blue wall? (Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota) I say yes. Will Republicans lose the red wall? (Texas, Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina) I say no. Lawsuits: Florida More lawsuits: Pennsylvania Pennsylvania Pennsylvania Turnout: 160 million plus??? Early voting The Senate: Georgia Alaska Kansas (yes, Kansas) Iowa The House: Dems +15?
I'm curious whether you believe in the polling we are seeing, and why you would consider that it is different than the problems encountered in 2016 (or why you'd give more faith today than with the polls that were so disastrously wrong in 2016).
If I believed there wasn’t a chance for polling errors I wouldn’t be telling everyone Trump can win. 2020 pollsters are operating under the assumption the failure in 2016 was lack of weighting for education. We all saw a paradigm shift in the electorate of non college white breaking for trump and college whites moving to Clinton. Now that would correct the failure for 2016 but 2020 is such a different dynamic that we will have to wait and see.
Michigan may go Trump again. Herr Whitmer has pissed off plenty of people in that state. Wisconsin goes blue as does Minnesota. Pennsylvania to close to call. Florida, who knows, it's always a cluster fuck. Still think Biden wins the grand prize and will be our temporary president for a year or so until they put him out to pasture. Big news is dems pick up at least two, maybe 3 seats in Senate.
Trump on Fox and Friends this morning said "It's been a great run." Who talks like this if they think they're going to win?
