Genocide Joe is off playing Santa Claus in Baltimore today handing out mega-goodies. If you are off in Maui or Palestine, OH and a catastrophe happens, let's just say it will take longer for Biden to arrive. If at all. When Maui burned to the ground Joe told them he was busy and could not go immediately. Then he went to Lake Tahoe for a weeks vacation, and the went down to Maui afterwards. Heh, well, Genocide Joe probably had a rental deposit on his AirBnB there at Lake Tahoe and could not re-jigger the dates. So let's all have some compassion for Genocide Joe.
States making it as hard as possible for RFK to get on the ballot. "Mistakes" they said. C'MON MAN! If you believe that, I have a bridge in Baltimore to sell you. Nevada Secretary of State confirms mistake made in instructions to RFK Jr.’s campaign LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. got some bad information from the Nevada Secretary of State’s (NVSOS) office. But it is his campaign’s responsibility to follow the law regardless, the state has informed him. Lawyers for RFK Jr.’s campaign are in a dispute with Nevada over his eligibility to appear on the November ballot. And now Nevada Secretary of State Francisco “Cisco” Aguilar’s office has admitted to 8 News Now that a clerk’s answers to RFK Jr.’s campaign contained errors. “Earlier today it was brought to the attention of our office that a Secretary of State employee had provided inaccurate guidance to an independent presidential campaign. This was an error, and will be handled appropriately. In no way was the initial error or subsequent statutory guidance made with intent to benefit or harm any political party or candidate for office,” according to a March 25 statement. At issue is Nevada’s law requiring the name of a vice presidential candidate on the ballot access initiative. Nevada statute clearly states the requirement, but Kennedy’s campaign was told otherwise by a staffer at the Secretary of State’s office at the beginning of the process to circulate petitions. His attorneys also point to paperwork to file the petition. “The petition does not even have a field for a VP on it,” according to Kennedy campaign ballot access attorney Paul Rossi. https://www.8newsnow.com/news/local...ke-made-in-instructions-to-rfk-jr-s-campaign/
This is why you have lawyers and staff at the state level. I heard from a clerk, who thought blah blah blah so I screwed up my paperwork is not going to work. No special carve outs for Jr.
The whole thing is bullshit anyway. The U.S. Constitution defines who is eligible to be president, and by extension, defines what criteria can be brought into the mix as a requirement to be on a ballot. Thus the requirement to have a VP selection, or that the person has released their tax returns, etc. etc, are all bullshit. As you would say "this is why you have lawyers." To get that requirement set aside, if needed. Maybe it is easier to just go out get signatures again. His campaign, not mine. But that VP selection thing is constitutionally bullshit. So what happens if a candidate switches out their VP pick along the way. Then what? You are stuck with the one that had the signatures. C'mon man. If I am running for President. it is none of your goddam business who my VP will be until I decide to tell you. You cannot use the state ballot requirements to flush that out, and thus deprive me of my right to run for a national position and be on the ballot just because I have not revealed that. Probably his party- whatever that is- can require it as a condition of being allowed to be that party's nominee but that is another matter. That would be an internal party matter rather than something a state pulled out of their arse.
I don't know if this fundraising bit is true or not, but I know that the headline will piss off the demmerrhoids here so that alone is a good reason to post it. Lefties, you are welcome. Billionaire donors plan to shower Trump with millions in April: 'fundraising juggernaut' https://www.foxnews.com/politics/bi...r-trump-millions-april-fundraising-juggernaut
So, as most of you know, Chris Wallace is a CNN slut now and has moved over into a talk-panelist type program- same as he had on Fox- given the fact that his CNN digial program died on arrival. Anyway, he is on today with four lefty panelists and it is sort of an interesting ditty. They are talking about the RFK phenomenon and ALL FOUR of his "guests" positively and vehemently stated that RFK hurt Trump (polls aside). That he either hurt Trump now or if he does not it will in the long run because RFK will- according to their theory- allegedly serve as a landing spot for all the low information, low commitment, disgruntled voters that would allegedly otherwise go to Trump. And they argue that Fox stopped reporting on Bobby's run the minute he left the dem party (news to me) because it is allegedly obvious that he is no longer a threat to Biden, but is now a threat to Trump. Okay, so far so good. This is America, my tolerance of bullshit is fairly high during campaign season because- well- what choice do I have? The problem is-however- that I look at them and ALL FOUR (leaving Wallace out as mod) are downcast, angry, anxious, and pissed at the RFK thing. Lefties, help me out a little here. Why would they be anxious and pissed if they believed that RFK would/is hurt Trump? Answer me that? Thanking you in advance.
