I like Mr Einhorn. He makes intelligent speeches. It puzzles me why a more experienced Mr Einhorn can perform so much poorer than an inexperienced Einhorn more than 10 years ago. Seems like experience doesn't really count a lot in investing. https://www.bloombergquint.com/markets/einhorn-s-greenlight-capital-funds-decline-7-6-in-january
%% WELL GM is/was a popular auto maker+ they never had the well known/WSJ known lousy customer service + $40, 000,000 SEC fine like TSLA did, helpme please. And GM has paid a dividend. When you look @ the small group of top managers/fund managers over 10 years; its a real shocker how many never do it in 20 years. Even more of shocker, with a 10 year SPY beating fund like Fidelity ContraFund+ how many of thier clients bail @ wrong time..................................................................................................
With Tesla's near 20% rise last night on 3Feb2020, I think Mr Einhorn's 2020 performance suffered a deep loss just on this short loss alone. Hopefully, he has covered his Tesla short long ago.
I shouldn't have listened to you about TSLA. %%% Not a prediction. Let's hope you will eventually be proven correct.
