The DOW being a price-weighted stock market index I think its easy to just keep the higher priced stocks trending higher, I mean some of these big name stocks are up over 10% YTD already, CAT,XOM, IBM and DIS, I mean those are pretty SIGNIFICANT moves for some these big name companies. Were only about 6 weeks into the year and these stocks have already posted double digit returns. At the rate these stocks are moving they could easily add another 30-50% in gains by the end of the year, I mean there does come a time when you just have to say is CAT worth $150+ a share and IBM $215+. Out of 30 stocks 10 have already posted double digit returns for 2011.
