Donald Sterling is a Democrat

  1. But you wouldn't know it listening to the MSM. We're hearing nothing at all about his politics. I'm just curious how the headlines would read if he was a republican. Further, the NAACP was going to give this clown a lifetime achievement award. Really? This guy has a history of making racist remarks and discrimination. Why does the NAACP give an award to a guy with a history of racism? Why do they take his money? Are they going to give all the money back? Would they take money from a racist republican? Would the media ignore his politics if he was a republican?

  2. I'm conflicted on this. I don't like the idea that a league full of convicts, wife beaters, druggies, rap thugs, hookup artists, etc will come down on a guy for having unPC views. And Magic Johnson, please STFU, seriously. I particularly am concerned that those views were expressed privately to his "GF" in a setting where he had an expectation, however unreasonable, of privacy. This is a typical leftist move to punish a guy for having an opinion they disagree with. Very much like the Mozilla case.

On the other hand, it is difficult to feel much sympathy for this guy. Apparently, he is a typical hypocrit liberal or pretend liberal. Big man at the NAACP but doesn't want his 20 year old GF hanging with blacks.

  3. I share the same concerns. There are clear right to privacy issues at play here, as well as the right to have your own opinions. What I'm trying to do is expose the leftist hypocrisy on all issues surrounding this story. They're all for free speech, until someone says something they don't like. They're all for privacy until they can expose someone with an opinion which will allow them to push their agenda. And finally they're all for exposing racism, until it's one of their own. Then the crickets begin to chirp. This story covers it all.

The funniest thing is that every article i read yesterday said that Sterling is alleged to have said these things. So Magic Johnson says he'll never go to another game, Lebron James says there is no place in the NBA for Sterling, and Jesse Jackson says Sterling should be immediately banned from the NBA.

Can you imagine any of them saying that an NBA player should be banned for something he allegedly did?

I'm just about done with pro sports. The NBA and the NFL have become race and homo advocacy groups. MLB is the only one that i haven't heard step into all this stuff. Even the NHL describes a partnership they have with a homosexual advocacy group.

Not interested in watching a bunch of blacks that routinely call each other nigger calling for whites to be banned as racists. And not much interested in watching a bunch of pro football players prance around in their little pink getups.

I watch a whole lot more high school sports now.

I don't know how i could have forgotten. It was only about three weeks ago that Jay Z, former part owner of the Nets, was wearing 'whites are devils' jewelry. Not a peep out of any of these people. Jay Z is not an owner anymore, but the blacks in the NBA all act like they'd give their right arm to be best buds with him. Were there calls to ban him from NBA arenas? LOL, what do you think.

just google 'jay z and white devil jewelry'

Stirling should be forced to sell the team to me for 1 dollar and I will bring the team back to San Diego.

End Racism in the NBA, Clippers in San Diego now.

  7. fhl,

You nailed it. My thoughts exactly. We watch sports to avoid these issues, but the geniuses who run these leagues insist on jamming it in our faces.

David Stern turned the NBA into a subsidiary of the rap industry. The NFL under that stuffed shirt Goodell is even worse. It's more PC than your average university.

Then there is the spectacle of that annoying little asshole, Bob Costas, lecturing us at halftime of Monday night games. I'd rather they turned it over to Al Sharpton or Keith Olbermann, because at least then there would be the unintended comedy value.

I watch mainly tennis and golf, plus F1 racing.

    1. A neighbor from spain got me to sit down and watch qualifying one evening. I find myself watching F-1 in the evenings when it is on. I am glad it is being broadcast here.

    2. If I purchased the clippers I would probably play at the San Diego Aztec facility til I purchased enough politicians to get San Diego to update and enlarge the sports arena and then give it to me.
I think I would rename them the Red Incas.
