Who cares?

They got hit with a $700k fine in 2011, IIRC, due to naked shorting (shares) and some other lesser charges. They had a ton of capital so my guess is that they just decided it was time to quit.

Ask a poster on elitetrader named MAVERICK. I think he was a principal at Vtrader. I know he handed me a cool polo shirt with the Vtrader logo on the golf course several years ago.
