do the ES ever make patterns like this?

  1. This is 6E.

I feel like currencies do this all the time, random ass tall bars out of nowhere. Patterns like the one here are never seen on the ES.

You can tell a currency chart because it looks like this.

Normally this is the kind of thing that only happens in pairs.

    Do you agree?

Unexpected news can trigger fast moves esp. in liquid markets which are affected by world news 24/5. I think this is something that currencies and SP futures have in common as some of the most liquid markets in the world, so its not too surprising that they share this.

this shows lack of liquidity......for some reason everyone is not in the market....they are doing something more fun like watching porn:D

  7. What time frame is this? hourly bars or 30-min bars or something else?

Outside bars give at the minimum two profit opportunities and can be traded both ways. They happen frequently at trend turning points. One trend is ending and a new one is beginning. What can be confusing is that the new one beginning can last a single bar.

Unless you are fluent in tape reading, best to sideline.

  9. 1 minute.

  10. Only the best human players can thrive in that time-frame. All the best to you, if you can attain success in that region. Even if you are successful, do take care of your heart :)
