Looking at the L2 there are different ECNS. Does it make any difference who I choose? Are there certain advantages/disadvantages to each one or should I always just choose the one that gives the best price? These are the ones I see most frequently. NQEX NASD BATS EDGX PACF
Yes, they have different fee structures. The cost of getting involved with each of them varies widely
Nvm, I just asked my broker and they told me there are no fees if I allow them to route for me they use arca, edgx, bats & nasd. However, I'd incur a fee if I chose one of those ecns manually.
