Democracy doesn't work

Democracy doesn't work, it just divides the society, creates enmity within the country --> cf. USA.
So, what other realistic alternative is there for the US?

This Republic is the best system and nation in the history of the world.

 

Sorry, but are you maybe blind not seeing what happens in the so-called democratic US republic right now?

 

That's what the Greeks and Romans thought. All we got from them are morality plays and aphorisms. :-(

But, do you think it's realistic to force 50% of the people out?
I don't think so. So, your system isn't working What's your next best alternative?
