I posted my call because there was a strong reversal zone on Tuesday which could have been exploited if more buying had come in after the news. It didn't. I even posted that the high was in. Either way, its far better than sitting silent without anything constructive to add. Sort of similar to the homeless guy sitting on the sidewalk with a half empty bottle of booze. No money, no family, no wife, no life. No brains to do anything for himself and no balls to do it with. So they just sit there watching the world go by and take a dig at anyone they know is doing better. Easy to identify them. Before even thinking of opening this trade, I checked the number of days remaining till the holiday exodus. There were 6 trading days, so that would have been my max hold. So whether this qualifies as a swing trade or anything else is a moot point........ Most likely the market will go sideways from the 19th (Monday) till the New Year. I started this thread on Monday, in anticipation of closing the trade today because tomorrow my wife and I are leaving for Dubai. The shopping festival started on the 15th. From there we are going to our family reunion, back only next year. More importantly - the Christmas rush has already started. After 2 years of Covid, people are holidaying with vengeance. Flights are going full to any destination so who is going to be here? Of course, the homeless guys will still be around because they cannot go anywhere else. Easy to identify them.
you guys won't believe me if i told you...today 12/16/22....i was shorting the stonk market by buying a shit load of it sqqq at 9:35 am. and i couldn't close it until 10:53 am est. i was trying to close so many times on my phone, ipad, macbook and was on hold to talk to someone from td ameritrade for more than an hour. they said citadel was having issue today and there were delays with some of the customer transaction. well it works in my favor and i was finally able to close and made a boat load of money. who would believe this shit? if someone was losing millions of dollar and couldn't close their position today, he/she would be more piss than me!
