"No market data permissions for IDEALPRO CASH"... Just trying to get data for a simple EURUSD chart...; like I'm doing every day for the last year... Then suddenly this No IB chat available. Any suggestions? Thanks!
This happened recently. (See the thread "No market data permissions - SUN Feb 10"). They resolved it before Monday open, but it took longer than I would have liked. It's a bit annoying that they do not acknowledge the issue on their system status page.
One more thing. I think it did not start working again automatically. I believe that I had to restart TWS. Not 100% about that, though.
Not an IB user here but every Sunday theirs usually a post or multiple about issues with features in IB or unable to login to TWS. Their usually resolved before market open. Guessing they just do some server maintenance every Sunday.
Looks like they're having some technical issues, no customer service available online as well. Interesting.
It's 6:10pm eastern and this is definitely not resolved. What's scarier is I'm on hold for 20 minutes with CS and nobody picks up the phone, what if you have an execution issue?
