Pfizer, in its application to have the EUA, claims that the mRNA injection STOPS COVID. When people say that it only lessens severity, they are reprogramming themselves to believe a LIE. At the time this application was made in May of 2021 the Pfizer vaccine was proven to both prevent severe illness and prevent the infection & transmission of Covid. The vaccinated breakthrough rate prior to Omicron in December of 2021 was a mere 0.56% which is less than the vaccinated breakthrough rate for measles of over 3% in an environment where the disease is highly prevalent. It is only when the Omicron variant arrived -- which is vaccine evasive -- did the vaccines become ineffective at stopping transmission & infection with a mere effectiveness of 18% (BA.5) to 36% (BA.1). Noting that "natural immunity" provides zero capability to stop the infection & transmission of Omicron. Fortunately the vaccines are still very effective at stopping severe Covid illness -- even with Omicron. So get vaccinated and boosted -- the life you save will be your own.
Hey hey hey, I don't ever recall being on the bandwagon that the vaccine will "prevent you from getting COVID." I do recall beating on the drum that you should take it to prevent yourself from dying from the thing, or getting seriously ill from it. And fuck the idea that you should take it to prevent others from getting it, because that is the wrong reason to take it. Everyone for themselves when it comes to vaccines of any kind. I could give less than two shits from a rats ass if you take the COVID shot, or any other vaccine, I am taking it to prevent ME from dying. If you choose to not take it and you die?
